Noctilium respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we may retain it, and the choices available to you when you browse the website, create an account, contact us, or place an order.
This website is operated by Noctilium Industries LLC, doing business publicly as Noctilium, a California limited liability company. Questions about this policy or Noctilium’s handling of personal information may be directed to support@noctilium.com.
Depending on how you interact with Noctilium, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing details, account information, saved addresses, order history, products purchased, transaction details, support messages, return requests, and other information you choose to provide.
Customers may complete checkout as a guest or create an account. When an account is created, we may maintain login information, account preferences, saved addresses, and links between the account and eligible order records.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from network information, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, scrolling and interaction activity, session information, error reports, and information about how the website performs.
Payments are processed through Stripe. During checkout, Stripe may collect your payment information, billing information, shipping address, phone number, email address, tax-related information, and other details needed to complete the transaction.
Noctilium does not store your complete payment-card number or card security code on its own servers. Stripe processes payment information according to its own terms, security practices, and privacy notices.
Noctilium uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic, visitor activity, traffic sources, ecommerce activity, and general website performance. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies and may process information about your browser, device, approximate location, sessions, and interactions with the website.
Noctilium also uses Microsoft Clarity to better understand how visitors navigate and interact with the website. Clarity may collect information about clicks, scrolling, navigation, page rendering, and similar interaction activity through cookies and related technologies. This information is used to identify usability issues and improve the customer experience.
Sentry may be used to collect error reports, performance information, and limited technical context when something goes wrong. This helps Noctilium diagnose failures, maintain security, and improve website reliability.
The website uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used to keep customers signed in, preserve cart contents, remember checkout state, prevent duplicate analytics events, support security, measure website use, and provide analytics and diagnostic services.
You may be able to limit or remove cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies or browser-storage features may affect account sessions, analytics, saved cart contents, or other website functionality.
Noctilium uses service providers to operate the business and website. These currently include Stripe for payment and tax services, Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for website hosting and delivery, Resend for transactional email, Google Analytics for website and ecommerce analytics, Microsoft Clarity for behavioral analytics, Sentry for error monitoring and diagnostics, and shipping carriers for order delivery.
We may disclose information to these providers when reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf, protect their systems, prevent fraud, comply with law, or carry out the functions described in their own terms and privacy notices.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order, or government request; to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Noctilium, its customers, or others; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Noctilium does not sell customer personal information for money. Noctilium does not knowingly sell customer order information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Analytics providers may independently process device, browser, cookie, and interaction information as described in their own privacy notices. You may contact Noctilium with questions about the analytics services currently used on the website.
Noctilium may send transactional communications such as account-verification messages, password-reset links, order confirmations, payment-related notices, shipping confirmations, tracking updates, security notices, and responses to customer-support requests.
These messages are necessary to provide requested services and are separate from optional promotional marketing.
Guest order tracking requires the order ID and the email address used during checkout. These details are used to verify the request before order and shipment information is shown. Customers with accounts may also access eligible order history through their account.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide accounts and services, fulfill and track orders, process refunds, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and business-record requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record and the reason it is maintained. Transaction records may be retained after an account is deleted when reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Registered customers may delete their login account through the Account Settings page. Account deletion removes login access and saved address-book entries associated with the account.
Completed transaction records may remain in Noctilium’s records after account deletion when reasonably necessary for fulfillment, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal compliance, and legitimate business recordkeeping. Retained orders are detached from the deleted login account and will no longer be available through that account.
You may contact Noctilium to request assistance accessing, correcting, or deleting certain personal information. You may also update certain account and address information through the Account Settings page.
Noctilium may need to verify your identity and request before responding. Some information may be retained or excluded from a request when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, order fulfillment, accounting, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other permitted business purposes.
California residents may contact Noctilium with questions or requests regarding their personal information. The availability and scope of particular statutory privacy rights depend on the law applicable to Noctilium and the individual request.
Noctilium will not discriminate against a customer for making a privacy request where prohibited by applicable law.
Noctilium uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. These measures include encrypted website connections, access controls, authentication protections, trusted service providers, and security monitoring where appropriate.
No method of transmission, payment processing, or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Noctilium is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Noctilium, please contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
Noctilium currently sells and ships products only within the United States. Service providers may process or store information in the United States or other locations in which they operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, products, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when updates are posted. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by email when appropriate.
Questions and privacy requests may be sent to support@noctilium.com.
